Shun Fujimoto: Great Courage

  • I watch some stories about him and knew that this man have great tolerant capacity for suffering pain, courage and bravery. Even after broken right leg knee won 1976 Summer Olympic gold medal. It gave me goosebumps and I salute him.
  • His name is Shun Fujimoto, a Japanese gymnast who was born in Hiroshima Japan in 1950.

  • Japan entered the Montreal, Canada 1976 summer Olympic having won 4 consecutive gold medals.
  • While he was practicing the gymnast, breaking his right leg knee during the floor exercise before an Olympic. He knew that his team member a great amount of pressure and tight contest with closet rivalry team Soviet Union and one mistake to disappointments whole nation. So, he didn’t tell anything about injury and he act like nothing happened to him.
  • He continued with his pommel horse gymnastic competition in the Olympics and scored the incredible 9.5, before moving to the other event, the ring competition.
  • He also completed ring gymnastic competition in final event and he made a great landing in both feet, keeping their balance and perfect finished with great amount of suffering from pain to score awesome 9.7, even despite dislocating his kneecap and tearing in his joints of legs.
  • Doctors were also wondering and stated that “How he could manage to do summersault and twists and land perfectly without fall down or screaming or no expression on his face due to pain”. the doctor ordered him to refuse the competition or permanent disability.
  • Also, someone asked that what he did in an Olympic, could he do it again! than he literally said “No I can’t do it again”.
  • In 2017, he was inducted into his actual place International Gymnastics Hall of Fame.
He is an inspirational story of great sporting courage.
He did not fear in extreme condition, fights hard to win Olympic gold medal.

Missile Man of India: APJ Abdul Kalam Sir

Who was APJ Abdul Kalam?

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, known as APJ Abdul Kalam was a well-known scientist and politician as 11th President of India. He was also known as 'Missile man Of  India' because of  works on development of ballistic missile and  launch vehicle technology.

  • He was born in pilgrimage centre Rameswaram,Tamil Nadu. In the school years, He has average grade but category in bright and hardworking student who has passion to learn. He wanted to be fighter pilot but there were only 8 position and he has in 9th placed So, his dream destroyed.

Role as Scientist:

  • He had completed his graduation in Madras Institute of Technology. He joined Aeronautical Development Establishment of DRDO and He started career as designing a small hovercraft After he became the member of DRDO.
  • He was also part of INCOSPER committee under working of Vikram Sarabhai as an space scientist. He was transferred to ISRO where he was project director of SLV-III where Successfully deployed the Rohini Satellite near the earth object.
  • Kalam was invited by Raja Raman to witness the India's first nuclear test Smiling Buddha as representative of TBRL.
  • He was also directing two other projects project devil and valiant which was develop ballistic missile of the SLV program. He returned in DRDO as chief executive to lead the 'Integrated Guided Missile Development Program(IGMDP).'
  • In May 1998 he played tremendous role in carrying ‘Pokhran-II’ nuclear test. Media coverage at this time made him country's best 'nuclear scientist.'
  • His other developing missiles including Agni, an intermediate range ballistic missile and Prithvi so many..

Role as Politician:

  • In 2002 the powerful ruling party NDA helped Kalam to win election and become 11th president of India and he also became the 3rd president who received the 'Bharat Ratna' before presume the office of the President.
  • Because of his interaction with common people specially, youth he was popularly known as 'People's President'.In his time, his toughest decision to signing the 'Office of Profit Bill.'
  • During his time as President, His fault's was inaction to decided the fate of mercy petitions that were submitted to him. Out of 21 mercy petitions,he acted only one mercy. In 2005, he recommended for President's rule in Bihar, which also being the controversial.
He wanted to defeat corruption and being efficiency, Kalam launched a program for the youth, called"What I Can Give Moment"; in 2012.

Kalam went to IIM Shillong to deliver a lecture on 'Creating a Livable Planet Earth' on 27th July 2015. While climbing he stairs, he felt that something in his hearth was not good but he made the way to auditorium. only 5 minute left into the lecture around the 6:35 pm and he collapsed in the lecture hall and take into hospital after sometime he was dead due to cardiac arrest.

He was honored with the 'Bharat Ratna', 'Padma Vibhushan' and 'Padma Bhushan' from government of India.

He has written great autobiography through 'wing of fire' and His life became the paradigm of the Youth of the country.

Great Pataudi


  • Search among the google and some articles I just knew that the great cricketer Pataudi has only one eye and have some great records and his father has only player who played test match for England and India.
  • He was an Indian Cricket Cricketer of the Year in 1962, and a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1968. He published an autobiography, Tiger's Tale, in 1969. He was the manager of the India team in 1974–5, and referee for two Ashes Tests in 1993. He was later a member of the council of the Indian Premier League in 2008.

  • He’s born in Bhopal in Nawab family. He was the 9th Nawab of Pataudi state and Bhopal state. He’s family was so rich is beyond our imagination and Not every child born in rich family have no struggle some are struggle a lot like Pataudi.
  • In travelling to England, he lost his right eye in car accident in 1961. His nick name was ‘Tiger Pataudi’ he is more special with most of matches played without sights a right eye. His one eye enough to created a history of Indian cricket.
  • At the age of 21 year and 77 days, he held the world record for the youngest Test captain in that time until he was surpassed by Tatenda Taibu in 2004. As of November 2015, he remains the youngest Indian Test captain and 2nd youngest captain International Test captain in the world.
  • He was captain of Indian team at 21 age so he described as one of the India’s greatest captain and he was also the best fielder in the world during his time by commentator john arlott.
  • He played 46 Test matches and as captain played 40, scored 2793 runs with 6 centuries in his career. Some of records are here, He was credited with leading to its first ever series victory overseas when they win the forth match against New-Zealand with 2-1.
  • He also holds the record for facing the most balls in a single test match when batting at number six position in Test history. The balls he played is 554.
  • In honor to great contribution towards the cricket BCCI instituted a Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi memorial lecture in 2003. He has Arjun award in 1964 and Padma Shri in 1967.
He was the great player in his time and created history only with one eye.

Great Scientist: Nikola Tesla


  • Nikola Tesla is a great inventor and also electrical and mechanical engineer. He is remembering for his contribution in development of the AC electric supply system and also in fields of electromagnetism and wireless radio communication. He was obtained around 300 patents worldwide for his inventions.


  • He was born on 10 July,1856 at Smiljan Croatia, Austrian Empire. He was able to perform integral calculus in his head, which prompted his teachers to believing that he was cheating. He finished a four-year term in three year a graduating in 1873. He studied an electrical engineering at the Austrian polytechnic in Graz and further in attended lectures philosophy the Charles-Ferdinand university in Prague as an auditor. sadly, his father died, and he had to leave the university after completing only one term.
  • In 1881, He moved to Budapest, Hungary to work under Tivadar Puskas at Budapest Telephone Exchange. He worked as a draftsman and later in promotion in chief electrician position. He moved in Paris in continental Edison company with another job. There he gained great deal of practical knowledge in electrical engineering.
  • He again moved in New York, US. He was immediately working at Edison Machine Works. At seen the work of his, An Historian man Carlson notes to him may met the founder of the company. After fixing all night the Oregon he told that Edison so Edison commented in him is “this is a damned good man”. After this he has given the arc lamp street lighting project.
  • He was quit after work for six months and Later the story of stated manager has Edison offering himself and commented “Tesla, you don’t understand our American humor”. By this company nothing to give to him. Serrell whom same attorney used by Edison introduced him to two businessmen, Robert Lane and Benjamin Vail, who agreed to finance an arc lighting manufacturing and utility company in his name, the Tesla Electric Light and Manufacturing. He worked for the rest of the year obtaining the patents that included an improved DC generator. The first patent issued to Tesla in the US. the company goes in loss.
  • After the help of partners finance and markets his ideas, he set up laboratories and companies to develop electrical and mechanical device. In this company he invents AC, induction motor and polyphase this all patents by Westinghouse electric in 1888. This company was the first to implement AC technology by lighting the World Colombian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. It proved to be a more efficient and effective method compare to the DC system of Edison. At the other invents by him is Tesla Coil, generators, electrical discharge tubes, contribution in fluorescent lighting, remote control and early x ray imaging.
  •  From the 1890 to 1906, he spent a great deal of his time and fortune on a series of projects trying to a develop the transmission of power without wires. He use these idea into practical use in Wardenclyffe project, an intercontinental wireless communication and power transmission.
  • From 1915 to 1925 mostly his patents run out and he was having trouble in his new inventions he was trying to develop.
  • He was continued his research on electrical generators and turbine design in his rest of life. Even in 81-year age , he was claimed that he completes the research on "dynamic theory of gravity" which never be published. He was died in New York on 7 Jan, 1943.
  • In 2003, a group of engineer founded Tesla Motors owned by Elon musk, dedicated to honor Nikola Tesla who created the AC electric motor. Tesla unit of magnetic flux density it's named for Nikola Tesla.
The famous line of  Nikola Tesla is "The present is theirs, the future, for which I really worked, is mine"

Armless Inspiration Person: Jessica Cox

           Who is Jessica Cox?
Jessica cox is an amazing personality. she was born without arm. She is the world’s first licenced armless pilot and also first armless black-belt in the America taekwondo Association using her legs and un-understable spirit of awesomeness.

She was born on 2nd fab, 1983 at Arizona, US. She is graduated in psychology and minor communication. She is able to some various thing like drive car without arm, to type a keyword at 25 rpm, remove her contact lenses. She is also certified scuba diver.

Armless Pilot:

She flew in a single engine airplane for first time in wright flight in 2004. She earned her pilot certificate on 2008 and is qualified to fly a light sport aircraft at altitude of 10,000feet.

Her sport pilot certificate for an ERCO-415c Ercoupe aircraft model, which federal aviation administration has designated a light sport aircraft. This unique design allows to cox to control the airplane with one-foot controlling yoke and another in throttle.

Taekwondo Black-Belt:

She began taekwondo training in the age of 10. She earned her first black-belt at 14. In college, she restarts her taekwondo training in ATA.

She also won 2nd degree and 3rd degree of black-belt in the ATA. She also won the title of Arizona state champion in 2014.

In current time, she works as a motivational speaker

In 2014 she competed in the 40-mile segment of EI tour de Tucson. It one of largest bicycling event in US.

She published a self-help book “disarm your limits.”

Great Shooter:Karoly Takacs

Who was Karoly Takacs?
Kalory Takacs is the most powerful inspirational Hungarian man, while he was the first shooter to win 2 Olympics gold medals in the 25-meter rapid fire pistol round.

He was born on 21 Jan 1910 at Budapest Austria-Hungary. He joined the Hungarian army in 1936. He was best pistol shooter in his country. He decided to make his right arm most powerful arm in the world. Everyone in his country, expected that he will win the gold in Tokyo Olympics.

Injury happens and survive:
When he was 28 years old, during his army training in 1938, when a faulty grenade explodes in his right hand, his hand was badly injured. He has to decide what to do next, he has 2 options: he left the shooting and take rest or he continue shooting with only left hand. He chooses the second option. He can’t even write in his left hand.
Road to Olympics medals:
When the operation was done in his right after 6 months, he was started the training in secret place. He surprises the countrymen when he won the national pistol shooting championship in 1939. He also part of Hungarian team that won the UIT world shooting championship.

The 1940 and 1944 Olympics was cancelled due to world war.
Now his age is 38 and younger players in pistol shooting to approximate defeat but again, he was surprising the whole world to won the 1948 Olympics in pistol shooting and defeat the world best Argentine pistol shooter Valiente, who has approached him before the event, and asked him he having heard about his accident. Karoly replied that he was there to learn, sets the world records. Valiente congratulates to him after winning the gold medal.

He won second gold medal in Olympics held at Helsinki. After the match Valiente again congratulated him and said that “you have learned more than enough now it’s time to teach me."

He was won 2 gold medals back to back with only left hand and he created the history in Olympics never the athletes won 2 gold medals in row. He ended his army career as a lieutenant colonel. He was also won the 35 medals in national level. He died on 5 Jan 1976 in stroke.

This is men inspires me a lot. When he right hand injured even win 2 gold medals at Olympics. He did some sacrifices and earned lot respects in past, now and in future.
